New for 2024, we are offering counseling appointments at SAF. The heart behind making these sessions available is to provide pastoral care combined with proven counseling techniques to members of our body who would like help talking through and processing circumstances and events in their lives with a caring, prayerful partner.

Pastor Landon's wife, Sarah, will be in charge of facilitating these counseling sessions, along with other members of the pastoral staff as required. Sarah has a master’s degree in mental health and wellness counseling and is working toward becoming a licensed professional counselor. Individuals utilizing SAF's counseling offering will receive and sign an informed consent form, which will explain that Sarah is not yet licensed by the state of Texas and that she will refer to or suggest professionals if the situation warrants. Confidentiality will be maintained except in specific cases, which will be outlined before sessions begin.

We believe God will be present during these sessions, and He will use them to bring insight, wisdom, and comfort to the people who utilize them. We are excited to get started!
